If you've never been before, let us fill you in on what to expect from our service.
On arrival you'll be greeted at the door with a smile or a handshake. We don’t have any reserved seating, so just find somewhere you like and feel comfortable.
The service starts at 10:30 with 30-40 minutes of modern praise and worship, using the latest popular worship music, so you can get lost in the often upbeat and sometimes
majestic music. (Check out our download page HERE to listen to some audio from the team.) It is a free time of worship, with space left for members of the congregation to
pray out what’s on their heart or what they think they hear God saying for us corporately.
At about 11:00, the children normally leave to attend their various groups, run by the church children’s /youth teams. We offer an excellent Sunday school
to teach the children about God, not to mention to get them out of the adult service for an hour so you can

concentrate…. (Read more about the groups HERE.)
We often have communion as part of the worship, followed by a short time of prayer for current events, either in church, the town, or the country/world. We believe that
prayer works, and we often see exciting answers to prayer.
Following prayer, the appointed speaker for the day shares what they feel God has laid on their heart for us. We have an excellent rota of special guest and in-house
speakers, following the theme of the church’s vision. The speaker usually fills the rest of the 40 minutes, sometimes using multi-media to get the point across. And
we often have a time of ministry at the end for those who may want prayer about the chosen subject of the
day. To listen to a selection of previous speakers, go to our download page HERE.
After the “formal” service, we all stick around for tea/coffee, biscuits and general socialising for half an hour or so. It’s a great time to get to meet

people and get to
know each other better. People often grab the speaker or one of the church leaders aside for a private word of encouragement or prayer as well.
If you haven’t had to rush out to rescue your Sunday lunch from the oven, things usually wrap up somewhere around 12:30 and the church is usually emptied out by 1:00 at the latest.
